Our Focus
It is our goal to build the most expansive and feature rich place for all lovers of games, no matter what kinds, to meet, come together, interact with one another, and simply hang out. Gaming is the new global entertainment medium, which is made up of each and every one of us. This is the place to find each other.
We are always looking for novel suggestions and ideas as to how we can make Napalm Riot an even more enjoyable and comfortable place to be. If you have a thought, or comment about how to improve anything, please do not hesitate to drop us a line at the address below. We will be happy to hear from you.

History
Back in 2006 several of us were working in the social networking industry and noticed that there was really no vertical social network dedicated specifically to connecting gamers. We wanted something that was focused on providing services and features for and about gamers, as opposed to just about games.
Therefore late in 2006 we began discussions concerning the possibility of building an online society for the very purpose of servicing gamers. Lots of coffee, and scribbling on napkins later, in early 2007 Spot and Rick (fluffy) began work on building the foundation for Napalm Riot as a property.
Through the 2007 year we continued to build up the foundation and accompanying features for the site. In October of 2007 we opened the site to alpha testers, followed by a soft launch to the public at the end of January 2008.
Since that time we continue to build new features into Napalm Riot, and create value for our users.
To be continued…
Core Team
Spot handles a plethora of things at Napalm Riot (until he can find other people to do them :P ) including all business development, advertising, strategic planning, investor relations, accounting, and marketing. On top of the Presidential responsibilities, Spot is the Executive Producer for Napalm Riot, and handles most production issues which arise.
Matt's role at Napalm Riot means that whatever the technical hurdle, he will deduce a plausible solution to make it all come together. This is very important as we build our infrastructure to scale under any perceivable load.
Kevin is one of the most hardcore coders we have on the team. He will hack at something until it is completely done. Kevin brings many years of experience with high load web property software and network infrastructure. As Senior Software Engineer Kevin's thoughts are taken with the highest of seriousness as we approach new projects.
As of this writing Terry has the highest post count out of any user on Napalm Riot. Terry handles the coordination of all efforts to grow and ensure the health of the Napalm Riot community as a whole. He represents the community when the team is making decisions, and ensures the community knows what is planned at any given time.
Jack is a dedicated engineer who doesn't mind sacrificing some of the more pleasurable things in life to work on NR. He has been known to pound out hundreds of lines of Napalm Riot code in a single session. As Napalm's lead engineer Jack automatically takes a front line position in the spearheading of new development projects, and helps ensure their success.
Phil spends his days sifting through the large underground vault of games here at Napalm Riot. Constantly looking for inconsistencies, missing information, and adding his own stuff, all according to his own personal tastes, and esoteric whims. Every once in a while he will sneak into the retro catacombs and play with the dust settling on the Pong machines.
Mike is one of the newest coders to join the Napalm Riot team. He brings a diverse enthusiasm to the table, which is used to complete projects in the quickest and most efficient manner possible. Mike also enjoys the software design process through which he hones his talents.
Haly spends her time sifting through millions of news feeds every hour to pick out the truly awe-inspiring tales, and bring them to the Napalm Riot users. She believes that news is the lifeblood of any civilization, and therefore like the pony express, she rides on through the night, delivering word of the world, good or bad.
Mike is one the longest standing code monkeys at Napalm Riot. He was responsible for a very large portion of the first version of the Napalm Platform code base. Mike is known for writing code faster than most people could dream. He is definitely one of the most innovative and unique coders we have ever seen.
Kevin handles any projects which have a need for 3D modeling, either high or low poly. He has also been known on occasion to lend a hand in two dimensional needs as well, putting aside his obsession with a Maya workspace for a Photoshop environment.
