Oh yeah, I was listening to something about this on NPR a month ago or so (the GPU thing).
Quite interesting. I am sure they made a bid for NVIDIA first, and got slapped down.
I think it's very interesting that NVIDIA bought AGEIA. Called that one about a year ago.
