Sounds interesting. I play an open source RTS already, but maybe I'll look this one over.

      Well, it's a freebie called Spring, which is just made by a bunch of gamers who loved playing Total Annihilation. It uses much of the same stuff, but the various modders work on trying to make their games better than TA was. :>

      It's actually quite fun, if you are more into playing a fun game than you are concentrating on how "good" the graphics look.

        Yeah good graphics are not really a requirement for me. I have actually said that I would like to see a game which had really shitty graphics but really huge massive armies on the map. Along with a huge massive map. :)

        Ien and I looked at Spring and it looks like its purely fighting. Is there no base-building component to the game?

          Yes, there is base-building. You should download it and drop in on a game with me and the two other deviants that play it with me.

          I think you'd enjoy it, once you found a Mod you liked. :D

              Well, starting off with the latest build of Balanced Annihilation isn't a bad idea. It lets you get a feel for things.
