More than just. Phone and iPod in one device was the one thing I was looking for for ages. But then there's the other neat apps and the A1 user experience that really makes me love it. And the screen quality! Well.. I better stop drooling again ^^

I'll see about waiting a few months, see if a 3G one crops up in the UK.
My major concern is the keyboard, when you're texting, can you flip it to the side like you can with Safari? When it's vertical, I can't hit the keys accurately, courtesy of my man-sized thumbs

If you want the 3G then wait for it. Though EDGE ain't really that much slower. I mean, you don't want to download huge chunks of data anyways. For web + email it's just fine.
Anyway, the keyboard is awesome. As a matter of fact, you can only turn it in landscape mode in Safari, and not when typing emails or SMS, or in any other app. But that's only a minor drawback for me. Actually, I prefer typing on the smaller one, even in Safari..

Overpriced? Come on.. A phone + iPod + this gorgeous screen for 400$? That ain't that much. Years ago I paid almost as much for a shiny Sony Walkman -_-
