I go where I please, and I please where I go

Have no fear, Microsoft offers a 3 year warranty for the RROD. Even so, if they didn't they would have to exchange it anyway. Trade law states that an item should have to last for a reasonable amount of time, and must be exchanged unconditionally if it breaks. A $600 gaming machine should last more than 12 months shouldn't it? If they refuse, threaten to go to the Consumer Protection ombudsman (or whatever you have in your country) and that should loosen their attidtude.
