I have Pharaoh as well, and you are right... really bad graphics, but surprisingly fun. Just really hard at times too.

So did the expensive doctor actually help? You didn't say.

    The expensive doctor hasn't done anything yet, he was just diagnosing. Treatment starts Wednesday (well, I started taking iron supplements already). I'm probably not going to be a happy camper when I get back from the appointment. =p

    I had no idea anyone else had ever actually heard of Pharaoh. The graphics look worse than I remember (probably because they're getting a bit stretched), but the little videos aren't terrible, graphics-wise. I think I've given up on playing at the "normal" difficulty. I don't get why it's so freaking hard! Isn't normal suppose to be not-hard-but-not-easy?

      Yeah I think Pharaoh was released a little after the original Caesar game was released, as a way to steal a little bit of that market. With the exception that Caesar is a really well made game, and Pharaoh really isn't. :)

      Keep us updated when you find out if the new doc is working.

        Never Played Half-Life

        Saw the chiropractor yesterday and I see him again tomorrow. He got some nice cracks out of my back. But he also told me I couldn't eat toast or chocolate. :(

            Toast is truly lovely. It's my breakfast when I'm at home and sometimes it's my lunch when I can't find anything else to eat/am too lazy to cook eggs. It's a wonderful vehicle for butter.

                Yes, they are! And regular bread just doesn't quite do it. I like melty butter (I think it's from when I was little and my dad would let me like the dish he melted butter in for pancakes/waffles, lol).
