    Yeah, I just have this block when it comes to memorizing anything from modern culture (modern being defined as say 1950 on) for some reason. Unless it'sin a history book, in which case it seems like I'll memorize it before I even read it.

        And I wish I could memorize anything modern. I'd gladly trade you, since I'm not in high school anymore and very little is just memorized. Although I do kind of enjoy being counter cultural, so I guess I wouldn't. And I think I may have had a freudian slip in that last statement.
