Ah, yeah, france seemed likely because of the language of the name, but you never know. I don't know why I think there is another famous arch in America though that we're missing though, but I think i'm being confuzzled by a mixture of mcdonald's golden arches and the golden gate bridge, because those are the only things I can think of...

I want to go back to France some day. I want to see most of Europe, for that matter.
I could see the Golden Gate Bridge on a daily basis if I wanted to (well, I could while I'm at home, anyway). Just ever so disconcerting that the thing is painted RED instead of GOLD.
I loved europe when I went. I didn't like france so much because at least in paris we weren't treated very well. I really liked Holland. We were staying with some friends that were there for the summer for a job and it was nice just living and not acting the tourist.

In France, the hotel we stayed at was like a block from a metro station... that was closed due to construction. So we got to walk to Gare du Nord to take the metro.
I liked Belgium a lot. We went to a waterpark one day and it was just amazing. Minus the bit where I nearly drowned (which, lol, no-one noticed ).
We pretty much walked everywhere in Europe, only way to really see the place.
We went to an amusement park in Italy that was kind of cool. I tend to avoid waterparks for that very reason though. That and I'm allergic to chlorine.
