What Mr.Robot is, is a game that tries mixing puzzle solving (the ship) and RPG (the "internet" of the ship).
The setting is that of the colony ship, traversing the stars to colonise a far off planet (alpha centauri IIRC). However, it would seem, the robots have gained some form of sentience which factors heavily into the plot.
You play the role of a service droid named Asimvo (guess who that references? :V) who is berated by the AI controlling the ship, HEL 9000. The beginning of the game, you perform some tasks and learn the controls. Eventually, you are told by HEL9K to go to the repair bay, as you are faulty. It is from there, that a sinister plot unfolds.
