As far as I can tell the only advantages it has over a 4850 is a slightly faster core clock and GDDR5 memory, is there anything else? I think I'd rather have the cheaper 4850 :-(.

    I wanted them because of the GDDR5. That and, for example, in CoD 4, there is a 30FPS increase over the 4850's, which is pretty significant when it's one of my most played PC games at the moment :B

      Nirach, once you start getting 100FPS, that extra 30 isn't going to matter much.
